Then and Now

HISTORY
The Norwich Ski Club was started in the late 1970's originating from a group of skiing enthusiasts working at the former Norwich State Hospital.
It was initially known as the Norwich Hospital Ski Club. It quickly expanded its member base to service the greater region of Southeastern Connecticut and was formally incorporated in 1997

NOW
The Norwich Ski Club provides day trips on weekends and mid-week to popular downhill and cross-country ski areas using motor coach transportation. These trips include free coffee, donuts and muffins on the way up, movies on the return trip and a dinner stop (sit down or fast food). We offer our members annual weekend and mid-week/ multi-day trips to regional New England resorts and an 'out of region' trip to Europe or out west. We are affiliated with the Connecticut Ski Council (CSC) and run a yearly ski sale. We are an organization of about 500 members.
